Godiva Chocoiste in Harajuku

Wonderwall designed this new concept flagship store adding a breath of fresh air to the more traditional image of Chocolatier Godiva. The shop features humorous design details such as the “melting chocolate” ceiling combined with the primarily classical interior design.
Silk Map Aviator Cushions
If you’ve been following the Vidafine Blog, you know we’ve shared with you pillow designs involving tech and food, but what about history? A few weeks back, Vidafine had the chance to exclusively speak with Photographer/Artist/Designer, Alex Jowett of Atelier 688 about his mission to support Canadian designers in his Toronto store/gallery. His loft is full of sophisticated and exquisite one of a kind pieces for the home, all created from reclaimed materials that he and his Canadian team have dug up. All of the products from Atelier 688 are vintage inspired. He also displays artwork and his photography up on the walls. What caught my eye though, were the framed silk aviation maps that lined his back wall.
Here Comes the Vidafine Guide

Solar Roads
Our path towards the future is being paved with green technologies, literally! Instead of using asphalt, which is made from petroleum and just makes our roads smoother to drive on, what if we could make roads capable of harnessing energy? That’s the idea that Scott Brusow, founder of Solar Roadways, is currently looking into.
