Wow. So after 20 years of having the same recognizable opening title sequence, The Simpsons has finally succumbed to the High Definition revolution. Although for the most part, it hasn’t changed drastically, but I’ve been having mixed feelings after seeing this. On one hand, it’s great that they’ve adapted to the ever changing landscape of TV production quality. On the other hand however, I just feel as though I’ve been so accustomed to seeing the old opening for the past 20 years that it just doesn’t seem right.
