I've been waiting to have a picnic at the park!

I've waited all winter to put on a dress, flip flops, sunglasses, lots of sunscreen and wander around the city just watching people and listening to them enjoying this wonderful weather. I absolutely love seeing how full of life everything is during summer time. The city has a completely new set of colors, sounds and smells (except for BO haha).

I have been waiting all winter to play outside with my crawling baby so he can feel the wind in his hair, grass under his toes and hear the birds chirp. Also for him to play in dirt and get all messy like boys do! I think Wayne would like to go on summer adventures with my little Jacob.

I've been waiting all winter to go to the lake and jump out of bridge into a cool water! And, of course, eat ice cream 3 times in day and sleep till 11 am

I have been waiting all winter for the seagulls to come back and nest so I can get some pictures of the chicks when they hatch!… unless I miss them again this year, but we have a breeding pair nesting on the roof opposite us so even if i miss them at the nesting site I should catch them from my kitchen window

I've been waiting to stop marking papers and exams (yes I am a teacher ~ ) and start so fun fun-summer-tivity has been to leap on my bike fly to India and cycle from Delhi to the far south – fingers crossed I make it…

N…..nature walks with the kids (you'd be surprised at what we find)
E…..enjoying every momment

We don't need a lot of gadgets to have fun, we just need eachother. We spend our summers in the sprinkler, in the woods, fishing at the lake, and playing in the mud after a nice summer rain. All the while, the cellphones stay in the house!!!

Agreed! But the board is carefully stowed for the summer and the golf clubs are back in full force. Need to find time to hit the greens!

Take my girlfriend out during the night time to see all the beautiful stars in the sky while lying on a picnic blanket with an iced cappuccino from Tim Horton's in an open field.

I can't wait summer vacation start & take the kids to VACATION in a sunny spot that we just swim/relax & wandering under the sun without worry about anything!

Wearing shorts, they're comfy and easy to wear.

All winter I could see myself lazily barbecuing hamburgers, with the scorching heat of the summer sun lazily barbecuing ME who'll be dreaming of the FUN-WINTER-TIVITIES I'll be able to do next winter.

Been waiting alllll winter to…have a hose fight
those things hurt when thy're on maximum blast!!! Since I use hoses to fill my swimming pool I have 8 of them so after playing around with 3 other friends the pool is filled and we can just pop into the pool!

I have been waiting to get a tan. My white legs have become blinding! I look forward to people not having to shield their eyes when I walk past them.

I've been waiting all winter to be able to rollerblade, skydive and use outhouses. But not all at once. I'm also very excited to be able to drop things on the ground and still be able to eat them after wiping the dirt off. Things falling in snow usually doesn't go as well.

I've been waiting for this wedding that I've been planning for ALL winter! But once this one day fun-summer-tivity is done, I can finally: play the guitar in my balcony, read philosophy books under a tree, go for a walk to the park pulling my niece in her wagon, celebrate the last days of pre-teacher's college with a friend, go catch crayfish in the pond and plant Wayne in the bushes to freak out some kids! wahahaha! Can't wait!

My son turned one in February, I have waited all winter to take him to the beach and have a picnic now that he can run around! Watching kids run around in the summer time brings back memories from when I was young! Now I can vicariously live through him!

being able to re-live my childhood and the innocent lives that children live was one of the reasons I am getting into a teaching career

I've been waiting all winter to go out charter fishing on lake ontario.

My summer fun-tivity is to be able to go out on our private patio in skimpy clothes and get a great tan! We just moved here in the winter, so I have been waiting to be able to do this!

My SUMMER FUN-TIVITY would be to take all the bloggers on vidafine out for a massive poutine party at the Smoke's Poutinerie Truck, at the Canadian BBQ championships and ribfest at the beaches. This is going down next next Fri-Sun father's day weekend. Loaded Smoke's Poutine with a side of edible crayons..am I in heaven? I LOVE VIDAFINE!!!

My fun-summer-tivity is to appropriate all the chalk drawn hopscotch boards I find as my own. I will jump them, regardless of what I am wearing or whom I am with, or the fact that I am in my thirties and look completely ridiculous.

i've been waiting all summer to bike around the city and post stickers of random objects. last summer was carrots, maybe this year can be wayne.

I have waited all winter for Christmas in July! We wanted to start a new/fun tradition with our kids, so this year we are doing a christmas in july! Complete with tree, milk and cookies, and stockings filled with fun summertime activities (sidewalk chalk, bubbles, new soccer ball etc).

My fun summer-tivity is riding my unicycle! I haven't learned a new hobby in years, so I asked for a unicycle for my birthday on a whim, now I can't wait to master it!

I've been waiting to use the garden hose to fill up my minifridge and put my cat in it. Unplugged and sitting open on the front lawn of course. She seems to like it, so I don't stop her.

I've waited all winter to visit family in Toronto, and lazily wander downtown Toronto…and stare at the giant fencing protecting the G20.

The Great Wall of Toronto is something for tourists and residents alike.

Weighing in at an estimated $5.5 million dollars and towering in at over 10 feet high, it is not only a spectacle in itself but essentially a work of art.

Okay, no it's not. It's more just like an ugly wall.
