An Illustrated Cookbook

I love to draw and I love food, so if you’re like me you’ll love Recipe Look too! (did i just make a rhyme?) This really cute and informative website was created by Tom and Amelie. It is a compilation of recipes hand drawn and submitted by users. For one, I’ve always preferred cookbooks with images included with the recipe, because I can never imagine what it’s supposed to look like (nor will I drool over how delicious the finished product will be) without a picture. And two, the hand drawn illustrations add that special comforting touch that reminds me of the days when photoshop, digital cameras, and computers were non-existent.

If you still aren’t sure how to go about doing this, the duo at Recipe Look have provided some step-by-step (drawn, of course) instructions on where to start.

All you need is a pen and a pan!
