One of the World’s Largest Observation wheels at approximately 500 ft in diameter just got a little more luxurious. Not only will you be able to feast your eyes on the magnificent views of Singapore while being transported high into the sky inside one of the 28 capsules, you will be able to sip your favourite cocktail while taking it for a ride. The Singapore Flyer’s beautiful design doesn’t hurt either. I am totally sold by this combination of class and adventure put into one.
The Singpore Flyer as it’s known, is built on the southeast tip of the Marina Centre reclaimed land and was completed late 2007 and started operations in early 2008. It is capable of taking 30 passengers in each of its 28 exo-capsules (meaning they face away from the wheel to maintain an obstructed view at all times, just like the London Eye in London, England). A full ride around takes approximately 37 minutes.
They have recently transformed one of the capsules into a unique bar experience called the Moet Bar in the Sky. In partnership with Moet and Chandon, the world’s largest champagne house, this exclusive lounge themed in black and gold is equipped with gold plush sofas, built-in champagne chandeliers and delectable drinks to savour.
Check out the current promo they are having until the end of this year!
